The third hand set named Biu Ji, or Thrusting Hand, utilizes different striking technique. With thrusting hand, the swinging muhn sao, and high pivoting elbow strikes.  At this point the student should have mastery all basic strikes, blocks, and kick theory, and should be well into Chi Sao training, where they will get a better understanding of where to utilize these techniques.
